“BrightSword, a Singapore-based software company transitioning from offline to digital, sought to establish a strong online presence. With inbuilt software solutions like BrightSkool (School Management System) and BrightDesk (HR Management System) in development, they needed their first digital marketing expert to spearhead their SEO efforts in Singapore and gradually build a marketing team as the products launched. I joined BrightSword on January 2nd, 2019, to lead this digital transformation.”
Solutions:
“I began by focusing on the company’s website, built on the WordPress platform, where I created and optimized IT service pages for SEO. I conducted a thorough competitor analysis for school management system keywords in Singapore, shortlisted the most relevant ones, and initiated off-page optimization efforts.
Simultaneously, I optimized the Google My Business profile and established social media accounts for BrightSword.
Four months in, the management decided to develop separate websites for their School Management Software (BrightSkool) and HR Software (BrightDesk). I took charge of crafting SEO content for these pages, ensuring they were optimized for the targeted keywords.
Towards the end of 2019, BrightSword launched a new SaaS application called EduJournal. Collaborating closely with the management, I conducted keyword research to identify strategic opportunities in the Singapore market.”
Impact:
- Organically, ranked the brightsword website for 400+ keywords within 10 months.
- Ranked in first page for 10-15 high volume keywords in 10 months in singapore & globally
